Becoming an islander....

Hi all,

how is everyone?

I recently watched the Martin Clunes series, Islands of Britain. Great little series, but Rathlin was truely a revolaltion! Since watching the show I have frantically researched anything and everything to do with Rathlin. My question is "how does someone become an islander?"

Ok, yeah I ve not been to the island YET! But I'm in love. I plan to visit asap, probably easter-ish. But what skills is the island community looking for in a potenial new resident? I ve lived on a few islands in the past, st marys (isles of scilly), trizonia (greece) and the isle of mann. However, Rathlin looks like something I ve dreamed of for years.

So what have I got to do to help?
